General support is the most flexible and allows our Board to allocate funding based on community needs.
BELONG EMERGENCY FUND
The Belong Emergency Fund supports low-income community members who are at risk of deportation, homelessness or displacement, in both San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.
FUND FOR SAN MATEO COUNTY FAMILIES IMPACTED BY ICE DETENTION OF A BREADWINNER
The Fund for San Mateo County Families Impacted by ICE Detention of a Breadwinner provides assistance for groceries, rent or other costs to stabilize families and prevent homelessness.
SANCTUARY LEGAL DEFENSE FUND FOR SAN FRANCISCO FAMILIES
The SANCTUARY Legal Defense Fund, co-sponsored by the SF teachers’ union (UESF) and Faith in Action Bay Area, is designed to ensure that immigrant families in the San Francisco public schools have access to high-quality legal support to protect their rights during the immigration process.
To donate by check, please make the check out to “Faith in Action Bay Area” and send it by mail to our office located at 820 Cassia St, Redwood City, CA 94063. Please indicate in the memo line which of the funds listed above you would like to donate to.
